The Studios was established in 2013 to promote the work of contemporary artists and performers through a regular programme of workshops, exhibitions and events. The Studios provides a full rolling programme of music, exhibitions and creative classes covering a wide range of subjects.
The Studios also provides affordable work and project space for artists.
Working in partnership with artists to facilitate exhibitions and live events. It is an experimental space promoting different approaches to presentation and most importantly engaging diverse audiences with quality contemporary art. From performance to interactive events and new to established international artists.
As an organisation based in a small, semi-rural town in North Derbyshire we are also aware of the vast potential of showing work outside of a gallery environment as a way of introducing contemporary art to new audiences.

Payment:
Payment in full via PayPal, cash or cheque (payable to The Studios) is required to reserve a place on any course. If a booking cannot be accepted you will be notified as soon as possible.
Refunds & Cancellation:
In the event of your cancellation all balances are non-refundable. In this instance please refer to your own insurance. However, if the cancellation is more than four weeks prior to the start date of the workshop we will offer alternative dates if available.
In the event of cancellation due to the inability of the tutor to run the course through illness etc a full refund will be made.
Please note that we may vary the course content according to student requirements.
Insurance:
All our tutors have full third party insurance.
Students may wish to take out their own cancellation insurance and personal accident cover from their own broker. We cannot accept any responsibility for illness, injury, damage to personal possessions or losses other than caused by our proven negligence.
