As a supplement to our 6 week taster life drawing courses this workshop offers extended individual tuition.
These stand-alone sessions aim to help students concentrate on skills and techniques they would like to develop. Through ‘one to one’ tuition and a more relaxed pace you will be able to highlight areas of difficultly or areas you would like to focus on or challenge. The classes will still be structured and concentrate on the methods and materials associated with the subject but there will be more time for reflection, feedback and exploration.
These classes will run with a minimum of 6 students and maximum of 10 to fully utilise the space and materials and time needed.

These lessons focus on individual disciplines but will continue to re-iterate on methods and techniques that will aid your understanding of proportion and perspective of the human form.  Unlike the 6 week course, that is progressive, these lessons will allow you to dip into different subjects and give you the time to enjoy the process and time to complete finished pieces, with guidance and exercises throughout.  These lessons are aimed at all levels and abilities and created to help you develop your skills and enjoy the activities.

This lesson will concentrate on working with Fabric

An environment will be set, using rich coloured fabrics and a costumed model.  Inks and mixed media will be used to illustrate colour, texture and to differentiate between the two.

A good quality cartridge paper will be available, at a cost of 15p per A2 and 30p per A1 and materials demonstrated will be supplied however if you would like to bring some of your own equipment feel free to do so.

You will need to provide your own lunch but beverages and of course biscuits, are free!!
