Andrea picked up her pens, after a long hiatus, around nine years ago and has not put them down since. She draws obsessively and has turned a passion for drawing into a career. She has exhibited her work, including her renowned sketchbooks, throughout Europe in both solo and group exhibitions. She has worked in the editorial, advertising and publishing fields. Her work is also studied in schools, at GCSE level and A-level standard, in the UK and across the globe. She co-runs drawing events including Dr Sketchy (Sheffield and Buxton branch) and Sketchcrawls. Her sketchblog has attracted over a million of visitors since it’s inception. A book about her illustration work, Andrea’s Book, was published in October 2013. |
